On the eleventh hour, of the eleventh day of the eleventh month in 1918, the World War to end all wars ceased.

In 1926 through a Congressional Resolution, President Woodrow Wilson proclaimed November 11, to be forever known as “Armistice Day”.

Shortly there after a small group of highly successful entrepreneurs made the committal to seed the assets of the Forget-Me-Not Foundation. Their idealistic hope was to continually remind Americans of the sacrifices made by the veterans of War and to insure them the respect, they deserved.

It was the Foundations mission to become the “watch dog” of those, who had served. They chose to. accomplish this worthy cause by remaining anonymous and thereby avoiding the limelight of publicity . To this day and “four wars “later, this “idea” is alive and well.

By the year of 2000, this original charter group of a few individuals had grown into an extensive assemblage of caring people who currently extend their “eagle eye” and “helping hand” to elders from all walks of life.

Attrition has changed the names of the “Successful Entrepreneurs” who administrate The Forget Me Not Foundation, but the dedication and the mission remains the same.

Membership in the Forget Me Not Foundation has grown twenty percent annually for the past five years.

Individuals from every corner of America have seen our slogan, “God meant it when He said, Honor Thy Father and Thy Mother”.

They willingly volunteer their time and efforts to bring an end to the horrors of abuse and neglect so rampant today in Americas nursing homes.

Technology has lengthened Americas “life span”, resulting in over “two million Moms and Dads” confined in nursing institutions. In the next twenty years, “one and one/half million” more will join their ranks.

The Forget Me Not Foundation will be there to insure them of the “respect” they have earned and deserve.
