I do the Processing & Distribution of Forget Me Not Legacy Products in the 307 Area Code. In 1976 my military career ended after being injured. I was discharged and put on disability with a monthly pension, not sufficient to have a decent living for my wife and two children. For a number of years I was able to do lawn work and did so as the weather permitted. However a couple of years ago I found myself unable to continue in that field and began looking for something I could do without the physical labor involved.

Becoming a owner/operator of a Legacy Product Processing/Distribution Center was suggested to me by the Veterans Administration. With their help and some considerations by the Forget Me Not Foundation I was able to secure a SBA loan in September of 2000 and opened the door for business.

The learning process was slow because of my disability, but with great effort I mastered in time. I currently operate the business working full time with some part time help working a few hours per week. In the beginning I had assumed that learning to operate computers would be difficult for me, but I have found that to be fairly easy and enjoyable due to the simplicity of the FMN software.

This opportunity has been a God send for me, and I believe that anyone could and can be successful in this business, given the help and support provided by the Foundation.
