How We Make a Difference
Many churches and service organizations have the desire to help in the preservation of the elderly but unfortunately, their lack of resources and geriatric health care knowledge prevents their involvement. Our financial assistance is provided to those organizations whose membership choose to help.
These Volunteers schedule activities in addition to making regular and impromptu visits to nursing home residents. Just their unannounced visits aides in the prevention of everyday infractions such as personal neglect and depression. When negative conditions are discovered, the volunteer group acts in their role of " victims advocates" and take steps to aide in the prevention of the reoccurrence these situations.
