The focus of The Forget Me Not Foundation is the protection and preservation of the elderly. This is accomplished by a nationwide network made up of "Part Time" paid professionals currently involved in elder care. This elite group brings a breath of fresh air to those four million unfortunate souls confined in America's thirty thousand nursing homes. With hard work and loving patience, these "Saints" participate in social activities sponsored by The Forget Me Not Foundation. As missionaries of the Foundation they forge a link connecting the patient to the outside world and it is through this social mixing that friendships are formed and treasured for a lifetime. This action of bonding carries elders the good news, "I haven’t been forgotten after all".
